Studio Group Evenings can vary from photography lighting and techniques, Photoshop or Elements techniques,
presentation skills, or be on any other practical skill that is of interest.
Lighting evenings can range from basic set-ups to more complicated light configurations. All lighting types can be demonstrated, from lighting found in the home to studio flash lighting.
On “how to use your camera” evenings, newer members learning their way around their camera, and others who have swopped to an unfamiliar brand, can be helped by more experienced Club Members. Tips on which camera settings and lens to use for different situations can be discussed.
Photoshop and Elements techniques can be demonstrated on the projector screen. Bring your own laptops along to practise newly learnt skills.
Every year there is a practical evening demonstrating how to cut mounts, and mount your prints to show them off at their best.
